Jan was recently appointed to the Large Cities Council of the National League of Cities. In this capacity, she will meet with other elected officials of major metropolitan communities to discuss common issues. She attended her first meeting in Washington on March 14^th.

Jan was also reappointed to the National League of Cities Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Public Policy Steering Committee. This committee sets the NLC's agenda for the coming year.
